It is a well-known fact in literature that Uncaria tormentosa or else "cat`s claw" contains four biologically active alkaloids. One of them - isopteropodine - is a good stimulator of immunity and above all the cells of phagosystem. Polyphenoles, tritherapenes and phytosteroids in the composition of the plant are antioxidants and have an antiviral effect.
The results of the clinical tests carried out in the Clinic of health food in the Institute of nutrition of RAMS, evidence that the BAC "Detox+" has an immune-modulating effect. Under the influence of tested parapharmaceutic the activity of humoral link of the immune system increased.
